Questions.

Most sessions and lessons are booked online through our booking system – pick your activity, choose a date and pay to confirm your slot. Prefer to talk it through? Call reception on 01202 499155.

Lessons and slope sessions (skiing, snowboarding and Ringos) must be booked in advance. The Alpine Adventure Park and Pirate Ship are turn-up-and-play – just grab tickets when you arrive.

Yes – full payment is taken at the time of booking to secure your slot.

Plans shift, we get it. Give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we’ll happily reschedule. We don’t offer refunds, but we can issue a voucher where that notice is given.

Yes – gift vouchers make a great present for birthdays, Christmas or a treat day. Ask at reception or visit the gift vouchers page.

Comfy clothes you can move in: long sleeves, long trousers (joggers or tracksuit bottoms rather than tight jeans), long socks and gloves. It’s an outdoor slope, so dress for the weather and bring waterproofs if rain’s forecast. Old clothes are ideal.

Yes – gloves are required for slope sessions and Ringos. Forgotten yours? You can buy a pair at reception.

Yes. Skis or a Snowboard, boots and a helmet are all provided with lessons and tasters. For other sessions a small hire fee is charged. Ringo riders are given a sanitised helmet free of charge, or you’re welcome to bring your own cycling, ski or kayak helmet.

Sessions run whatever the sky’s doing. Here’s the secret: the Proslope surface actually runs faster and smoother when it’s wet, so a bit of rain is no bad thing. Just bring waterproofs.

Roll in about 15 minutes before your session starts. That gives you time to get your boots fitted, meet your instructor and hit the slope right on time rather than rushing.

None at all. The 45-minute ski taster is built for people who’ve never set foot on skis. If you’ve skied before and want to push on, Learn to Ski or private lessons are the better fit.

Alpine Tot Academy lessons  and private lessons start from age 2.

A maximum of 6 people per group lesson, so everyone gets plenty of instructor attention.

The lot: skis, boots and helmet are all provided, and a friendly instructor runs the whole session. You just turn up in the right clothes.

No – the snowboard taster is made for absolute beginners and covers the basics like binding setup and how to fall safely.

Group lessons start from age 8; private lessons from age 4.

A maximum of 6 people per group lesson.

As well as the usual layers and gloves, we recommend wrist guards for snowboard lessons.

Ringos are for everyone from age 5 right up to adult, and riders need to be over 1 metre tall (3ft 3"). It’s a great activity for the whole family to do together.

A standard session lasts 30 minutes on the slope. With the travellator uplift getting you back to the top quickly, you’ll fit in plenty of runs.

Yes – a helmet is worn for every ride. Bring your own cycling, kayaking, skiing or snowboarding helmet, or use one of our free sanitised rental helmets.

Yes. Ringos is an outdoor activity and all booked sessions go ahead whatever the weather – just wrap up warm and dress for the conditions.

No – the Alpine Adventure Park is turn-up-and-play. Come along during opening hours and grab tickets at the Park Hut (school holidays) or from reception. The kiosk takes card payments only.

All of them. There’s a Tiny Tot Fort and toddlers’ area for the littlest visitors, through to the zip wire, trampolines and adventure trail for older kids. Under 2s go free.

A zip wire, the Alpine Fort, four trampolines, super-slippy slides, rope and tyre swings, woodland picnic areas and the legendary Pirate Ship on its own island, all linked by an adventure trail through the trees.

Recommended for ages 5 and over – best enjoyed by children confident climbing and exploring. There’s nothing extra to pay; it’s included with every Adventure Park entry.

For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted within our activity areas, shop or Alpine Pub. Assistance dogs are welcome, and we’ll make reasonable adjustments where necessary to support guests who rely on them.

We don't take reservations for the Alpine Pub. You can simply walk in and find a table. If you are arranging a large group, please feel free to get in touch with us on 01202 499155.

Yes – there’s something from the under-2s play area right up to adult lessons, and the Alpine Pub has a Kids Corner to keep little ones happy.

Yes. The park is free, unsupervised adventure play, so children must stay in the care of their own accompanying adult at all times. There’s plenty of seating and picnic space nearby.

Yes – we run kids’ ski and snowboard lessons and the Snowtrax Academy programme, with age-matched groups so juniors learn alongside others at the same stage.

Absolutely. We run dedicated birthday parties – Ringo parties, Adventure Park parties and Pirate Ship parties with treasure hunts. See the party pages for packages and how to book.

Yes – we welcome school trips, scouts, cubs and youth groups with activities to suit every age, plus risk assessments and invoicing. See Schools & Groups.

Yes – team-building days, away days and group bookings, with a function room, catering from the Alpine Pub and a private bar available. See Corporate & Group Events.

From small teams of a few people up to groups of 60-plus. Larger groups are split and rotated across activities through the day so everyone stays involved.

Group and corporate days are planned around you rather than bought instantly online. Send an enquiry with your team size, event type and rough date, and we’ll come back with a tailored quote. Businesses can be invoiced.

Yes – free parking for over 200 cars on site, right by the entrance. There’s no charge and no need to reserve a space.
