A private lesson means a dedicated, professional Snowtrax instructor focused entirely on you. It's the most effective way to learn – beginners benefit from a far more intense, focused experience, while established skiers sharpen specific skills and techniques far more rapidly than in a group.
Learning with someone else? Book with a friend or family member of a similar standard and share the same instructor – a great way to progress together.
Lessons run on our all-weather Proslope surface, seven days a week, so you're never waiting on the weather or the season to start skiing.

Skiers of all standards are welcome – from complete novice to advanced skiers chasing the next level of performance. Booking as a group of two or more? We recommend a similar standard so everyone gets the most from the session.
First-timers
Never clicked into a pair of skis? A private start is the confident way in – the basics, balance and your first linked turns, all at your pace.
Improvers & up
Already skiing? Fast-track specific skills – parallel turns, carving, moguls and park lines – with coaching dialled in to exactly where you are.
Families
Family lessons take up to 2 adults & 3 children (minimum age 6). Book one at a time, or take a course of family lessons at a reduced rate.

Flexible tuition for individuals and small groups. Tell us your level and your goals when you book, and we'll match you with the right instructor. Equipment hire is included – our rental shop is fully stocked with skis, boots & poles.
Booking and full payment are required in advance for all private lessons. You'll pick from the available session times when you book – for general centre hours, see our opening times. During peak season (December–March) we ask for around 4 weeks' notice in Jan–Feb due to high demand – last-minute slots do come up, so check the booking system.

Private ski lesson FAQs.
We recommend long sleeves, long trousers and old clothes suitable for the weather, plus gloves (which can be bought at reception if you don't have your own). It's an outdoor slope, so please come dressed for the conditions on the day.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson start time so you can get kitted out and be ready to make the most of your time on the slope.
Private ski lessons are open to skiers from age 6 upwards. (For group ski lessons the minimum age is 8.)
Yes – skis, boots and a helmet are included in your lesson. Our rental shop is fully stocked, so all you need to bring is suitable clothing.
Your lesson goes ahead whatever the weather – in fact the slope runs even better in the wet. Just bring appropriate waterproof clothing and you'll be good to go.
Absolutely. Book with someone of a similar standard and share the same instructor – a great way to progress together. Family lessons take up to 2 adults and 3 children (minimum age 6).
Full payment is required when you book. If you give us at least 24 hours' notice we'll happily reschedule your lesson. We don't offer refunds, but vouchers can be issued where the required notice is given.
