The course

Beginner to
skier.

Learning to ski is an exhilarating experience – and a brilliant way to spend the school holidays. Our Learn to Ski course is an intensive two-day programme built to get you sliding with confidence by the end of the second day.

Across two half-day sessions – five hours of tuition in total – one of our professional instructors guides you through a specially designed programme, building each ability level on the last: clicking in, finding your balance, mastering the snowplough and linking your first turns down the slope.

Groups are kept small so everyone gets real, individual attention – and it all happens on our all-weather Proslope surface, so the course runs whatever the season is doing outside.

Designed forComplete beginners
What you’ll learn

Five hours.
Real progress.

No prior experience necessary. Your instructor builds each skill on the last, working through our ability levels so that by the end of day two you’re sliding the slope with control and confidence. Here’s the path you’ll follow.

01

Boots & skis on

Get comfortable in your kit, clip into your skis safely, and learn how to move, fall and get back up without the drama.

02

Find your balance

Your first glides on the gentle nursery area – sliding, balancing and getting confident moving on your skis.

03

The snowplough

Learn to control your speed and stop with confidence – the snowplough is the foundation every skier is built on.

04

Link your turns

Put it all together and start linking turns down the slope – the moment it clicks and you’re properly skiing.

Who it’s for

Two stages,
one slope.

The Learn to Ski course is aimed at young skiers aged 10–16. Choose the stage that matches where you are – and if you’re an adult or a family wanting the same fast-track start, ask us about the private intensive route.

Stage 1 · Beginners

For total beginners with no experience at all. Start right at the beginning and progress through the ability levels to sliding the slope. Ages 10–16.

Stage 2 · Improvers

Already ski and want to improve fast? You’ll need a working snowplough turn and to use the travellator. The aim: progress onto the main slope with more confidence and technique.

Adults & families

Over 16, or want to learn together? Our private intensive course covers five hours of tuition (with lunch) for adults and families – just ask the team.

Day two, last run

The moment
it clicks.

When your skis stop fighting you and the turns start flowing – that’s the feeling we’re chasing. Two days in, it’s yours.
