Give your pupils a day that ticks the curriculum boxes and the “best trip ever” box at the same time. Skiing, snowboarding, Ringos and our Alpine Adventure Park – all on one site in Dorset, with qualified instructors, all the kit, and the paperwork sorted so you can focus on your students.
Heading to the Alps this season? A lot of schools bring their group to us first. A few sessions of group ski lessons on the all-weather Proslope mean pupils step onto the mountain already comfortable on snow – so the trip is spent progressing and enjoying it, not finding their feet on day one.
Group lessons build the basics – stopping, turning, riding the lift – so the first morning in resort isn’t spent learning to stand up.
Pupils who’ve already felt snow under their skis arrive calmer and braver, ready to make the most of every lift pass on the mountain.
Less time on beginner basics in resort means more time progressing – better value from an expensive week away.
A Snowtrax school trip is more than a fun day out – though it’s certainly that. Snowsports build balance, coordination, resilience and the confidence to try something hard and stick with it. For a lot of pupils it’s their first time on skis, and it’s a memory that lasts.
We host primary classes, secondary year groups, sixth forms and specialist settings throughout the year. Sessions are led by qualified instructors, run on the all-weather Proslope whatever the weather, and group pupils by age and ability so everyone’s appropriately challenged and supported.
And because we welcome schools every week, the practical side is well-worn ground for us: ratios, risk assessments, invoicing and what to bring are all things we’ll guide you through.

Build your day from any of our activities. Many schools mix a snowsports session with Ringos or the Adventure Park so there’s variety, plenty of movement, and something to suit every pupil.
Instructor-led beginner sessions on the main slope. No experience or kit needed – pupils learn the basics safely and feel real progress in a single visit.
The great equaliser. Everyone can do it, everyone loves it – rings flying down the tubing slope. Brilliant for team spirit and end-of-term energy.
Climbing, swings, the adventure trail and the Pirate Ship. Outdoor, physical and full of challenge – perfect for younger classes and active groups.
A visit maps naturally onto several areas of the curriculum and your wider school aims. Here are the connections teachers tell us are most useful when they pitch the trip and plan follow-up work.
Balance, coordination, core strength and whole-body movement in a genuinely novel sport – a fresh context for the PE programme of study and a confidence boost for less sporty pupils.
A ready-made OAA experience without a residential. Pupils manage risk, follow safety routines and take on a physical challenge in an unfamiliar environment.
Encouraging each other up the slope, celebrating small wins and pushing past the wobble builds resilience, communication and self-belief – great for personal development and class bonding.
An exciting, inclusive reward trip, transition-day activity or enrichment experience that pupils remember – and that opens up a new sport some will carry on with.

There’s a look pupils get when they slide down on their own for the first time – surprise, then a grin they can’t hide. Teachers tell us it’s the highlight of the year. We’re inclined to agree.
All the technical kit is provided. Here’s the split between what we sort and what pupils need to turn up wearing, plus the practical details for staff.
Staff and accompanying adults are welcome – we’ll confirm supervision ratios and free-place arrangements when we plan your day. Group sizes are flexible: smaller classes get a focused session, and larger year groups are rotated across activities to keep everyone moving.
Faultless from first email to the coach home. The instructors were brilliant with our Year 6s – even the most reluctant ones were beaming by the end. The risk assessment landed before I’d even chased it.
We do this as our end-of-year reward trip and it never disappoints. Great value, genuinely inclusive, and the staff make it run like clockwork so we can actually enjoy it with the kids.
Mixed the slope with Ringos so every pupil had a moment to shine. The team adapted superbly for our SEND students. We’ve already booked again for next year.
Send us your year group, rough numbers and a preferred timeframe and we’ll come back with options, a quote and everything you need for sign-off – including risk assessments and invoicing details.
