GENERAL INFORMATION
Once you have achieved our Recreational Standard you are able to come and use our slopes unsupervised. Ski recreationally with us and you can really develop your technique, fine tuning the skills you may have learnt in our lessons.
Skiers who regularly ski recreationally, find their fitness levels and overall skiing ability improves dramatically. Save £££’s with one of our annual lift passes, for a one off fee, you get unlimited access to the slopes. Please book your session online or call reception – 01202 499155!
ABILITY LEVELS
For safety reasons we cannot allow inexperienced skiers on the slopes without guidance from one of our qualified instructors. If you do not meet the required recreational standard (see below) then you must book lessons, please contact us to discuss the various options.
Required Recreational Skiing Standard
1) Able to sidestep up and down both sides, straight shuss and create a snow plough.
2) Able to snow plough glide, brake and stop.
3) Able to do all of the above, use the main ski lift safely and perform several linked snow plough turns on the main slope.
4) Able to use the main lift and main slope
Please note: Members of the public are not permitted to teach others at Snowtrax. All inexperienced skiers must book lessons with one of our trained ski instructors.
The nursery slope and middle Travelator/Learning slopes are for participants undergoing instruction from one of our instructors. All recreational Skiers need to use the main slope at all times, thank you.
Helmets, gloves, long sleeves and trousers are advised to worn at all times. Helmets are mandatory while using jumps and freestyle equipment.
Ski & Dine: Saturday & Tuesday
Recreational Skiing or Snowboarding + Food.
Offer includes a recreational skiing or snowboarding and a meal from either the Alpine Pub Super Saver Menu or the Children’s Menu!
Saturday: 7pm-10pm
Tuesday: 6pm-9pm
