Why ride with us

Learning to ride,
done right.

Learning to snowboard is one of the best feelings going – and our professional instructors are genuinely obsessed with the sport. From first-time tasters to advanced freestyle coaching, we’ve got tuition dialled in for every level. Over the years we’ve had thousands of people strapping in for the first time right here.

Heading off on a winter holiday? Most beginners need around six private lessons to reach the standard to ride our slopes confidently – and that’s a brilliant head start before you hit the mountain. You’ll get far more out of your trip with the skills to explore with confidence (and it’s a sneaky way to get fit before you fly). Already riding? Refresher and Freestyle Club sessions keep you sharp.

Ability levels

Novice to expert.

From your first nervous side-slip to dropping the park with confidence, we cater for every standard of rider. Here’s roughly where you’ll fit – and where we’ll take you next.

1Level

Never ridden

Strapping in for the first time. We’ll get you sliding, stopping and turning – the foundations that make it all click.

2Level

Linking turns

You can ride, now you want flow. We’ll smooth out your turns, build control and get you confident on steeper pitches.

3Level

Carving it up

Holding an edge and hungry for more. Dial in clean carves, switch riding and the technique to take anywhere.

4Level

Park & tricks

Spins, presses and rails. Coached freestyle progression to take your riding off the ground – safely.

This is the feeling

Find your
flow.

The first clean toe-to-heel, the silence of a held edge, the buzz after a session that just clicked. That’s why we ride – and it’s closer than you think. Book in, strap up, and go chase it.

Good to know

Before you drop in.

Keep it comfy and weather-ready: long sleeves and long trousers (old clothes are perfect), plus gloves and wrist guards. You’ll be glad of the wrist guards on day one – if you forget gloves, you can grab a pair at reception.
Roll in 15 minutes before your session starts. That gives you time to sort kit, get your bindings dialled and hit the slope on time – not chasing it.
A maximum of six per group lesson, so there’s plenty of coaching to go round. Want it just you (or you and a mate)? Go for a private lesson instead.
Bring it on. Your session runs whatever the weather – in fact, the Proslope actually rides faster and smoother when it’s wet. Just pack some waterproofs and you’re golden.
Group lessons are for ages 8 and up; private lessons start from age 4. Younger riders are looked after through our Kids & Junior Academy sessions.
Full payment is taken at the time of booking. Give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we’ll happily reschedule. We don’t offer refunds, but we can issue a voucher as long as that notice is given.
Easiest way is straight through our online booking system – pick your session, see live availability and times, and you’re set. Prefer a chat? Call the team on 01202 499155. During peak season (December–March) we get very busy, so around 3–4 weeks’ notice in Jan–Feb is wise – last-minute cancellation slots do pop up, so it’s always worth a look.
Still got a question? The team’s on the slope 7 days a week. 01202 499155
