Learn alongside other riders of a similar standard, with a professional Snowtrax instructor reading the group and pushing everyone on. Small classes, a clear six-level path and the buzz of progressing together – from your very first slide to linked S-turns. Equipment included.
Group snowboard lessons are a fun way to learn with other boarders of a similar standard. Suitable for everyone from novice to expert, our professional instructors help you develop your skills and get more out of every session – with the energy of a class around you.
Classes are capped at just six riders, so you still get real coaching attention. Every lesson runs for 45 minutes and opens with a short safety briefing before you head out onto the slope.
Book lessons one at a time, or take the special-offer block of six and lock in your spot as you climb the levels. Courses run through the winter and start every couple of weeks.

Whether you’re strapping in for the first time, chasing a fast-tracked start before a trip, or already riding and just want slope time with a coach on hand – there’s a group format for you.
Beginner to winner in six weeks. Same day, same time, same crew each week – the quickest, best-value way for a complete beginner to nail the basics before the season. No experience needed.
Already riding? This informal coached session is pure slope time with an instructor on hand for hints and tips – no pressure, just laps and progression. For riders who can diagonal side-slip and use the main lift.

There’s something about chasing your first clean turn while the rest of the class does the same. You feed off each other, you laugh off the falls, and you come back every week a little braver. That’s the magic of learning in a group.
Every class is grouped by ability so you're always learning with riders at your stage. Pick the level that matches where you are now – not sure, just ask when you book. Each level builds on the last.
Get to know your equipment, run through the safety talk, and take your first straight-run slides down the slope.
Review level 1, then learn to side-slip on both toe and heel edge for a controlled, confident descent.
Review level 2, then take the diagonal side-slip across the slope on both your toe and heel edges.
Review level 3, then work your heel and toe edge all the way to the fall line – the doorway to turning.
Review level 4, then ride isolated C-turns, linking heel-to-toe and toe-to-heel with growing flow.
Review level 5, then link your C-turns together and progress into smooth, continuous S-turns. You're riding.
Everything you need to know before you book. Tell us your level when you book and we'll place you in the right class – equipment hire is included, with our rental shop fully stocked with Burton snowboards and boots.
Riding with friends? Book together if you're a similar standard so the whole class moves at the same pace. Group lessons run through the winter season – for general centre hours see our opening times. Booking and full payment are required in advance.
