Myers Cup Slalom Race

Snowtrax is thrilled to announce the inaugural Myers Cup Slalom Race, a vibrant tribute to our beloved colleague, Will Myers. Will, a passionate ski instructor and an avid slalom racer himself, he will always be remembered as a cherished member of the Snowtrax family. His sudden passing in early 2024 left a profound void, and we believe this race is a fitting way to honour his memory and celebrate his love for the sport.

As a frequent competitor in the Dynastar Masters Series, Will embodied the spirit of friendly competition and the joy of skiing. The Myers Cup will capture that spirit, inviting “senior” racers of all levels to join us for a fun-filled day on the slopes. Whether you’re a seasoned racer looking to relive those glory days or simply eager to try something new, this event promises a thrilling experience.

We’ll be awarding small prizes for the top three finishers. Join us as we honour Will’s legacy and share in the camaraderie and excitement of this special event.

We’re donating all of the entry fees to the Wessex Heartbeat Charity. Wessex Heartbeat are a regional charity established in 1992 that help babies, children and adults diagnosed with congenital and cardiovascular diseases primarily by supporting the work of the Wessex Cardiac Unit based at Southampton General Hospital. This is achieved by providing specialised equipment, services and facilities to help patients and their relatives through their cardiac journey.
